Some of the best prices for Japanese whiskey that ive seen. At least for the ones i drink.

Great prices unless you're looking for rare bottles then they can get a bit pricey. I'm a whiskey man and the have the best whiskey selection I've seen in the area. Again rare bottles can get a bit pricey but it is what it is, thank the internet and resellers for that. The negative reviews about online ordering are pointless it's a neighborhood liquor store put down your phone step outside breathe some fresh air and walk to the corner liquor store. Shout out to pm Pete and Mike

Stopped in from a walk home from Northern.i know they have a parking lot but seems inconvenient. The selection and price was great and happy wifey.

Superb location, so many varieties, I was baffled by how much different drinks they have! I'm new to wine and liquor so I will definitely come back to get more! I started with a few different bottles of wine today. Great prices and quick service. Store is nice and clean

I don't go to this Wine Store too often. But, I will pop in, when I'm in the area. They have a great selection. The carry low level, Carlos Rossi , Mid Level- F.F.Copola, , and great wines like Prisoner. I was impressed with their selection, when I was browsing. Some of their inventory is separated by style, and some is separated by county.. The area has a sizable Chinese and Greek population. And, they carry Greek and Chinese speciality items. I think that's cool. Not many places have such a large selection of Greek wines.. When , I went in last Friday, I asked one of the employees 4 assitance. This guy was very helpful. He really knew the inventory. I asked for Unshackled Blend, he got it in two seconds, and any other wine I requested, he was able to immediately locate. He also helped me by looking something up in the computer. I was looking for any Roussane white wine. I know it's hard to find. Ive only gotten it online . Anyway, he tried to see if they carry any, by looking it up in their computer system. But, unfortunately they did not. This guy, I think his name is Rohan was really Helpful. I don't often see this level of service, anymore. One of my favorite things about Leisure's is their prices... I saved a lot of dollars, here. Saldo is a wine I enjoy from time 2 time. At a different wine store, I saw it for, $29.99... At Leisure's, it is $24.99. The Unshackled Blend was $21.99, three days ago I paid $26.99 in Maspeth. I have Several other examples. On average, their wine is $3-$5 less.

As always a quick transaction came in looking for Gin, aperol and sweet vermouth because i had a sudden craving for a classic Negroni. Cant wait to get home and tell you all about it

I have searched high and low for a liquor store with a wide variety of korean soju flavors & this is the place! Most liquor stores in brooklyn do not have such a large selection of soju at this price point. They used to sell it for around $3 a bottle (with tax included), but now the prices are a little higher ($4 a bottle with tax). Even with the price hike, it is still cheaper than what brooklyn liquor stores have to offer. Most importantly, they have my favorite soju- chamisul fresh! Every time I stop by queens, I would make a trip to Leiser's to buy a few bottles of chamisul fresh. Definitely worth the visit!

I've been back a few more times since I've last reviewed and I'm still amazed by its selection. The staff is super helpful as well, I needed a half bottle of St. Germain once and the staff was able to grab me a bottle from the back even tho the shelves were empty. Today I was looking for a sake for a cocktail and they have the biggest selection (of course) out of all the liquor stores I've been to. Regardless if you're looking for a ginjo or junmai daiginjo, they got you! Another thing worth mentioning is that they have half bottles and smaller sizes of some liquors, bitters behind the counter, just ask when you are checking out. Highly recommend coming here first for all your alcohols.

Last night, I was searching via Yelp for liquor stores that were selling soju. Luckily, I stumbled onto Leiser's which was in the same neighborhood as the New Age Market. I recommended Leiser's to my bestie Kim so we stopped by here today before grocery shopping. She was able to find a metered parking spot diagonally across from the liquor store #score Remember to look up at the signs hung above each aisle so you won't walk around aimlessly throughout the store. Since it was my first time, I just asked someone where we can find soju and he pointed towards the back of the store. Holy moly, we were in SOJU heaven lol...they got strawberry, peach, apple, grape, etc Also, Leiser's shelves were fully stocked with assorted wines including Barefoot (my bestie Diana's favorite brand), Hennessy, cocktail mixes, Chinese brands, etc! Note: They accepted credit cards with a minimum $10 purchase!

Out here on Long Island we have seen some big box liquor stores move in over the years - Stew Leonard's Wine & Spirits, Total Wine, etc.. which is great for a large selection and lower prices, but when you can still get that combo from a long time local shop then it is even better! This is where Leiser's comes in, or I should say, HAS been since 1947. The store is large, they have a great selection, prices are very good.. really all it takes to earn 4 stars in my book. Stopping in recently I noticed they had a great selection of Sakes and Soju (again at excellent prices) catering to the changing demographic in the area - so for me, earning that extra star. Although I didn't find the staff over helpful, its all good because when it come to buying alcohol I can tell you what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career so I don't need much help because I will look for it, I will find it, and I will drink it.
